Arctic Trucks Russia will formally start operation in the coming months. The company will start it's operation in Siberia, Krasnoyarsk city and later expand to other areas of Russia. The partner of Arctic Trucks in Russia is the official dealer of Toyota and Lexus in Krasnoyarsk – Ltd. Krepost - a strong and highly respected company, working in the car market in Siberia more than 15 years. Preparation for this started already in 2009 and during 2010, time was used to train people in Arctic Trucks Russia to do the modifications, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations and etc. Formal start of the operation is planned within two months.
Some 20 units of Land Cruiser 200 have been modified and sold already, all with AT35 modification. In December Arctic Trucks Russia modified the first Hilux and LC150 in Russia. The Hilux, AT35, will be soon be offered for general sales in Krasnoyarsk and the LC150 with AT35 will follow later. Later this year the plan is to begin offer these modification through Toyota dealers to other parts of Russia.
